Salina Regional Health Center, in Salina, KS, is now seeking a BE/BC General Surgeon to join our team. Salina has a population of 50,000 but pulls patients from a region of 250,000 people, making it the perfect balance of community and pathology!
Opportunity
- Work with four partners in a high functioning Level III trauma center; PA on the inpatient side responsible for responding to traumas
- Opportunities to expand practice with wound care, vein clinic, vascular services, outreach, and telemedicine
- Work in a BRAND NEW surgical center equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including two da Vinci Xi robots and da Vinci SP. Surgical center will include outpatient clinic rooms, 6 OR's, 24 pre/post-op rooms, onsite x-ray and ultrasound, outpatient PT and OT, opening spring 2028!
- Large, built-in referral base with 3 affiliate hospitals, 26 family medicine physicians and 6 pediatricians; patient base of 250,000 with 39,000 ED visits annually.
- Be part of a regional healthcare system with easy access to specialty care collaboration and most specialties
- Supportive, on-site, and approachable administrative team. Very open to your ideas as an employed physician!
- Teaching Optional! Work with students from KU School of Medicine - Salina and Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency
