Chicago Cardiology Institute is a Partner Practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).
Chicago Cardiology Institute (CCI) offers internationally recognized health care in a boutique setting. Founded by Dr. Parag Doshi in 2009, we are now a practice of nine cardiologists, providing all facets of cardiovascular care. Dr. Doshi has over two decades of experience and is a leader in the field of interventional cardiology. His experience ranges from speaking at and organizing international conferences, to performing thousands of interventional procedures.
In 2014 Dr. Solomon Sager joined the practice, and went on to become Dr. Doshi’s partner in 2017. Dr. Sager, an electrophysiologist, trained with pioneers of the EP field, and was the first physician in the area to perform multiple complex EP procedures. Dr. Mohamed joined the practice in 2018, bringing CCI expertise in minimally invasive valve procedures that many claim but do not have the comprehensive experience and track record performing.
Because CCI is a private practice, every patient we treat comes to us by choice or doctor referral. Increasingly, as doctors are owned by large health care systems that only refer within their systems, CCI remains one of the only private groups in the area providing individualized comprehensive cardiac care. Our facilities are IAC/ICANL/ACR Certified, and we incorporate the best technology available for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease. During these times, we especially pride ourselves in our ability to provide all facets of cardiac care with an exceptional safety record. Our investments in advanced diagnostic and imaging systems and a comprehensive EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system reflect our commitment to our patients.
Our Chicago Vascular Clinic was the first and remains the largest outpatient vascular center in the State of Illinois. For over ten years we have been providing consistent results and low complication rates. Patients are treated by doctors who perform hundreds of procedures per year alongside highly experienced nurses. Patients receiving treatment at our private facility avoid the hospital experience altogether, returning home three to four hours post-procedure.
We take the most conservative approach to treatment whenever possible. Our non-surgical approach provides our patients with substantially lower cost procedures, reduced risk, quicker recovery times and less discomfort. In cases where surgery is necessary, our staff is highly trained in advanced techniques for surgical procedures that offer our patients the best outcomes.
CCI has offices conveniently located in Schaumburg near the Woodfield mall and in Oak Park near the intersection of Harlem and North Avenues.
