Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated physician to provide essential cardiology services on a temporary basis. What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient cardiology care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and manage patient diagnostics and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, supervising four Advanced Practice Clinicians.
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality patient outcomes and clinical standards.

Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Cardiology (Non-Invasive).
• Valid medical license to practice in Virginia.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in adult cardiology.
• Proficiency with the EPIC EMR system.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in a hospital and outpatient clinic settings.
• Experience supervising healthcare providers.
• Familiarity with hospital procedures and workflows.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in non-invasive cardiology.
• Prior locum or temporary coverage experience is a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work local, full-time, Monday through Friday with call responsibilities (approximately 1:6 ratio).
• Availability to start as soon as credentialing is complete, with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 120 days.
• Maintaining current certifications and licenses in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Ability to handle travel and licensing reimbursements if applicable.
