Opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients in an ambulatory setting, while utilizing advanced imaging technologies to diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. This position is designed to be a 0.6 FTE outpatient clinic and 0.4 FTE advanced imaging.
Highlights
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular imaging studies, including echocardiography, cardiac MRI, CT angiography, and stress testing to diagnose and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular disease, and arrhythmias in an academic setting.
- Participate in weekend and night call rotations, responding to cardiology needs and ensuring quality care for patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, hospitalists, and specialists to deliver comprehensive care for complex cardiovascular patients.
- Employ advanced imaging to guide treatment decisions, assess risk, and plan interventions, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients.
- Supervise and provide clinical education to cardiology APPs, residents, and medical students, with a focus on advanced imaging techniques and clinical decision-making in cardiology.
- Engage in cardiac imaging procedures such as echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac MR and cardiac CT, when appropriate.
