Job Title: Internal Medicine - Cardiology (Locum Tenens)

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
• Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings, managing complex cases
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts including day and night coverage
• Willingness to provide coverage on assigned weeks and respond promptly to outreach

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous locum tenens experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS)
• Bilingual abilities to enhance patient interactions

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• At least 2+ years of clinical experience in cardiology or internal medicine in hospital settings
• Experience in covering multiple weeks for continuity of care is highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Active state medical license and any specific certifications required for inpatient care
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight pager shifts (not every night)
• Willingness to travel or stay on-site as needed
