St. Bernards Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist with Fellowship Training in Advanced Heart Failure to join and help lead our expanding cardiovascular program in Jonesboro, Arkansas. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape and grow advanced heart failure services within a technologically advanced, physician-led health system.
This position is ideal for a cardiologist passionate about advanced HF care, program development, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Opportunity Highlights
- Fellowship-trained in Advanced Heart Failure
• Lead heart failure readmission reduction initiatives at St. Bernards Medical Center
• Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice
• Guide inpatient care of advanced heart failure patients
• Participate in the Heart Failure and SHOCK inpatient response teams
• Active participation on the LVAD Committee
• LVAD workup and longitudinal management
• Advanced HF patient evaluations and therapy optimization
• Oversight of APRN-led outpatient CHF clinics
• Participate in heart failure research initiatives
• Assist with ICU management of complex cardiac patients
Clinical Scope (Based on Interest & Expertise)
- Interpret echocardiography and cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET)
• Read Cardiac MRI (negotiable)
• Perform right and left heart catheterizations, if desired
• Manage advanced therapies including guideline-directed medical therapy optimization
