Professor of Clinical - Medicine, Cardiology: Electrophysiology

The Electrophysiologist will join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Miami, contributing to both clinical care and academic activities. This position offers an opportunity for professional development in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with exposure to advanced electrophysiology procedures and the chance to work alongside leading cardiologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, surgeons, and nurses, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in the clinical education and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new electrophysiology programs and protocols.
- Engage in clinical and translational research, including presenting findings at academic conferences and contributing to publications.
- Participate in call coverage as required for inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services.
Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent degree with board eligibility or certification in Cardiology.
- Fellowship training in Electrophysiology or equivalent experience.
- Strong clinical skills and interest in advancing the field of electrophysiology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, academic environment.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced electrophysiology techniques, including complex ablation and device management.
- A strong interest in clinical research and academic medicine.
