Required Skills:

• Board-certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology
• Proven experience with inpatient rounding and managing advanced heart failure cases
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a hospitalist and consultative framework

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with VAD management and device therapy
• Subspecialty training or certification in heart failure and transplant medicine
• Prior experience with inpatient hospital settings and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to support a minimum of 2 weeks per month, including potential locum to perm opportunities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Fellowship training or extensive experience in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology
• At least 3 years of post-training clinical experience in a hospital-based setting

Other Requirements:

• Active medical licensure in the state of practice
• Certification in ACLS and BLS
• Ability and willingness to support inpatient care on North campus with in-house hospitalist and critical care coverage
• No transplant procedures at this facility, but VAD support experience is valued
• Open to candidates interested in locum to perm roles
