Specialty Eye Institute (SEI), a premier partner of Midwest Vision Partners, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Surgical Retina Specialist to join its growing team in Lansing, Michigan. This is a high-demand, 100% retina opportunity with immediate patient volume due to succession planning and strong regional need.


Position Highlights

  • 100% Surgical Retina practice
  • Established referral base across a large, multi-specialty network
  • Immediate volume – backfill for retiring/deceased physician
  • 4–6 surgical cases per week + ~55 patients per day
  • Dedicated surgery day:
    • Monday – Surgery
    • Tuesday–Friday – Clinic
  • Outpatient-only practice; no hospital call
  • Call is light (5–6 weeks/year) and limited to established patients only

Compensation & Benefits

  • $600,000 (new grads) – $700,000 (experienced) guaranteed Year 1
  • Transition to 40% net collections model in Year 2
  • $50,000–$150,000 sign-on bonus
  • Equity Day 1 (50% of signing bonus applied toward ownership)
  • $4,000 CME + 5 days
