Pediatrician - Outpatient

UM Shore Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join a well-established outpatient practice in Easton, Maryland, with expansion to a third location in Chestertown.

This is a great opportunity to practice 100% outpatient pediatrics in a supportive, community-focused environment with strong system-wide resources.


Practice Details

  • 100% outpatient pediatrics
  • Patient population: Birth–19 years
  • Services include:
    • Well-child visits
    • Routine check-ups
    • Immunizations
    • Sick visits and patient education
  • Solo physician model with Advanced Practice Provider support
  • No hospital rounding
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Light call requirements
  • EPIC EMR
  • Strong referral network within UMMS

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care
  • Manage preventive and acute care needs
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and families
  • Participate in practice growth and community engagement

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $265,173
    • Based on MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks
    • Commensurate with experience and training
  • Incentive bonus opportunity
  • Sign-on options (choose one):
    • $20,000–$25,000 bonus OR
    • $50,000 housing allowance (year one)
  • Relocation assistance up to $10,000

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Maryland medical license (or eligibility)
  • DEA certification
  • Prior clinical experience required (ability to practice independently)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required
