Job Summary

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Electrophysiology team in Longview, TX. This role will support a growing service line by assisting with increased outpatient clinical volume and inpatient hospital rounding. The ideal candidate will have cardiology or electrophysiology experience and be comfortable managing patients across both clinic and hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with outpatient electrophysiology clinic visits, including new patient evaluations and follow-ups
  • Support inpatient hospital rounding and management of EP patients
  • Evaluate and manage patients with cardiac rhythm disorders
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies including EKGs, labs, and cardiac monitoring
  • Provide patient education on procedures, device management, and ongoing care
  • Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, and care teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR

Qualifications

  • Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • Previous cardiology or electrophysiology experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
