Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Cardiology
• Current State Medical License (IMLC or WV temporary license accepted)
• DEA certification
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TEE
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting nuclear medicine stress tests, exercise stress tests, EKGs, Echoes, and TEE
• Excellent clinical skills with the ability to manage a patient population of primarily 50+
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Prior experience working in hospital-based cardiology departments
• Ability to handle a high-volume clinic schedule and emergency calls
• Familiarity with hospital procedures and multidisciplinary collaboration

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2-3 years of post-residency cardiology practice
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient cardiology services

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work full shifts during clinic hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 call schedule, averaging 1-2 after-hours calls per day
• Credentialing time frame approximately 30-45 days
• Willing to obtain licensure via IMLC or WV temporary license if necessary
• Compensation: $300.30/hour with shift differentials for holidays and after-hours
