The Division of Plastic Surgery, in the Department of Surgery at Yale University is seeking a colleague at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor who wishes to focus his/her practice on breast reconstruction and general reconstruction disciplines.
Yale Medicine has a wide referral network of primary and specialty care physicians. We are seeking candidates with an academic orientation in clinical care, clinical research, and education. Candidates will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to make contributions to the field of Plastic Surgery. In addition to program planning and development, candidates should also have a background in quality assurance, educational, and operational development.
In addition to clinical duties, our faculty members provide educational training to medical students and residents, and actively contribute and help develop research goals and portfolio. Ideally, the candidate would have completed a fellowship in plastic surgery subspeciality. Applicants should expect to work in a friendly environment with collegial and supportive administration offering patient-centered care in a multi-disciplinary fashion. This position is an opportunity to join a growing faculty at Bridgeport Hospital and build a robust practice in a thriving community in Connecticut.
