What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive cardiology consultation and diagnostic services within hospital and outpatient settings.
- Participate in hospital consults, hospital call coverage, and specialized tests such as Echos, TEEs, and Nuclear Testing.
- Collaborate with in-office medical assistants and support staff to deliver seamless patient care.
- Maintain a balanced schedule with a mix of hospital call and clinic work, averaging patient loads of 18-20 per day.
- Utilize EPIC EMR efficiently to document and manage patient information.
Required Skills:
- Board eligible or certified in Cardiology.
- Valid medical license and DEA certification.
- Strong clinical skills in hospital consults, diagnostic testing, and patient management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient trust and teamwork.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in advanced cardiology procedures.
- Experience with EPIC EMR and hospital-based cardiology services.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital and outpatient environment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years post-residency experience in cardiology.
- Familiarity with hospital-based cardiology care and outpatient clinics.
Other Requirements:
- Must obtain or hold an active license and DEA certification.
- Willingness to work a day shift schedule on a 5x8-hour basis (08:00 - 17:00).
- Credentialing completed within approximately 120 days; temporary credentials available for eligible candidates.
- Compensation of $369.53 per hour, with benefits including competitive pay, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, referral bonuses, licensure and travel reimbursements, and paid sick leave.
