Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, is recruiting for a full time Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician to join our growing team of 7 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners in our Division of Developmental Pediatrics. This is an outpatient-only position with opportunities to shape expanding programs and collaborate in a rich academic environment and teaching with The Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics.
What You’ll Do
- Provide diagnostic and follow-up care for a wide range of developmental and behavioral conditions
- Participate in program development, leadership initiatives, clinical research, and teaching
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team including psychology, pediatric rehabilitation therapists, and social work
Responsibilities include diagnostic and follow-up services for patients with a variety of developmental and behavioral needs.
There are opportunities for program development, leadership, clinical research and teaching with The Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics. The successful candidate must be BC/BE in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and hold, or be able to obtain, an unrestricted Ohio medical license. Specific interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Developmental Disorder or ADHD is desirable.

Additional on-site providers (current and future) include 3 Psychologists, LCSWs, Care Navigators, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech/Language Pathologists and Registered Nurses. Our practice is strictly outpatient and patients are seen at two locations; the main campus near downtown Dayton and The Child Health Pavilion, a new outpatient facility located just down the street from the main hospital.
Dayton Children’s Hospital offers a variety of employed pediatric subspecialists, including Neurosciences, Clinical Genetics, Orthopedics, Endocrine/Diabetes, Pediatric Cardiology, ENT, Allergy, Adolescent Medicine, Pulmonary, Sleep Medicine, Gastroenterology, Urology, Nephrology, Plastic Surgery, and others.
