Job Description
- Specialty:
- Critical Care APP
- Coverage Needs:
- ASAP - Ongoing
- Shifts:
- Looking for Nocturnist
- 7p-730a
- Need 3 12-hour shifts per week
- Setting:
- Multi-specialty medical-surgical community hospital ICU
- High acuity
- Census:
- 10-15 ICU patients per APP
- Support Staff:
- Attending Physician available
- Procedures:
- Collaborate with attending MDs to develop plan of care and communicate dynamic changes throughout shift
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Order entry (Cerner EMR) and thorough documentation of History and Physicals, Consultations, Event / Follow-up Notes and Procedure Notes
- Interpret diagnostic testing
- Communicate with ICU nursing staff
- Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds each shift
- Perform invasive procedures including, but not limited to, central line insertions (CVLs, vascaths and introducers) and arterial line insertions
- EMR:
- Cerner
- Board Certification:
- Acute Care certified Required for NPs
- Travel:
- Looking for commutable candidates
- Credentialing timeline:
- Expedited Onboarding
- Requirements:
- Active GA state license
- Active DEA in GA or willing to transfer
