What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose and stage cancers using clinical assessments, imaging, and laboratory tests
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient (e.g., chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, targeted therapies)
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed
  • Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care to improve quality of life
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and potential outcomes
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care with surgeons, radiology, certified oncology nurses, nurse practitioners, and oncology navigators
  • Support clinical trials, research initiatives, and quality improvement projects in oncology
  • Stay current with oncology guidelines and evidence-based practices; contribute to continuous improvement
