Preventive Medicine Physician-Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available in Houston - $250K Loan Repayment and Bonus Available

As a preventive medicine officer on the U.S. Army health care team, you’ll plan, coordinate and direct a program to maintain health, improve physical fitness, and prevent disease and injury. U.S. Army Reserve health care team responsibilities include creating, implementing and overseeing programs that improve physical fitness, prevent disease and reduce injury. Active Duty (Full-Time)

• Loan Repayment: Receive $120,000 in student loan repayment in $40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (ADHPLRP).
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $400,000 signing (accession) bonus plus $52,000 incentive pay annually (dependent on specialty)
• Location: Over 40 locations stateside and several more overseas, including Hawaii, Alaska, Italy, Germany, and Korea.
• Time Off: 30 days paid vacation annually plus over 20 days for federal holidays and "Days of no Scheduled Activities."

Army Reserve (Part-Time - 38 days a year)

• Loan Repayment: Receive $250,000 in student loan repayment in $40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (HPLRP).
• Incentive Pay: up to $75,000 paid annually for 2, 3, or 4 years. Must have completed a residency program in your specialty. (amount dependent on specialty)
• Specialized Training Assistance: Monthly stipend while enrolled in an accredited residency program. Recipients must be a U.S. citizen and will serve in the Army Reserve after completing residency.

• Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico.
• U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residence (Reserve only).
