The Division of Medical Oncology at the Duke University Medical Center and the Duke Cancer Institute (DCI) are recruiting a board eligible/certified MD or MD/PhD Medical Oncologist with a committed interest and expertise in Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcomas. Responsibilities would include outpatient clinical service in the Duke Cancer Center, a significant role as an independent clinical investigator or physician scientist, and educating fellows and house staff. Ample protected time would be provided for laboratory-based or clinical/translational research. Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate based on qualifications and experience. The Duke Sarcoma Program is a large referral center for the Southeastern United States and a nationally recognized leader in the treatment of a variety of bone and soft tissue sarcomas. Our team applies world-renowned research and innovative treatments to deliver innovative and compassionate care for individuals facing these rare diseases. Our faculty are appointed in the Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology and also serve as members of the Duke Cancer Institute, one of only 40 centers in the country designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.
