Position Overview

Covenant HealthCare, a prominent 650-bed acute care hospital and level II Trauma Center located in Saginaw, Michigan, is seeking a skilled Neurosurgeon to join our esteemed team. As a Neurosurgeon at Covenant HealthCare, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional surgical care to patients with neurological disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of neurosurgical procedures including cranial and spinal surgeries.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as MRIs, CT scans, and angiograms to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Provide consultations, assessments, and follow-up care for patients in outpatient clinics and inpatient settings.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurosurgery.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Michigan.
  • Proven expertise in performing neurosurgical procedures with excellent surgical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care with compassion and empathy.
