As a General Surgeon in the Army, you’ll examine, diagnose, treat, rehabilitate, and perform surgery for patients with injuries or disorders. You’ll lead medical units, provide patient care, conduct medical research on diseases, and develop disease prevention and health programs to help improve patient outcomes and advance treatment practices the medical field.

Must be PGY1 complete and successfully passed all three steps of the USMLE/COMLEX exams on the first attempt. Certain individuals may be eligible to apply in PGY I. A full medical license is required for all applicants entering PGY III.
