Job Description

The Outer Banks Health Medical Group in partnership with ECU Health Physicians is seeking a BE/BC OBGYN to join their growing Outer Banks Health Women’s Care practice, located in Nags Head, North Carolina.

Experienced applicants are preferred but we will consider all qualified applicants.

Job Highlights include:

  • Employment by ECU Health Physicians
  • Position available due to expansion
  • Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
  • Hospital privileges at The Outer Banks Health Hospital
  • Approximately 400 deliveries per year
  • Call is shared with three other physicians in the practice- 1 night a week 1 weekend a month
  • Labor and delivery area consists of 2 labor/delivery, 4 mother/baby postpartum, 1 triage and 2 “flexible” rooms as well as a dedicated Caesarean-section operating room; nursery cares for up to 8 healthy, full-term babies and stabilizes near-term babies for transfer as needed to facilities that provide advanced care
  • Clinic schedule (including administrative time): Monday-Friday, 8:45am to 4:30pm - 4 day work week
  • Clinic is located in the Medical Office Building connected to The Outer Banks Health Hospital
  • Ultrasound and procedure room in-office
  • Dedicated U/S tech, Monday-Friday
