Job Description

Envision Physician Services is looking for full time Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians at UTMB Clear Lake Campus!

*Requirements: PEM fellowship or 4-year dual EM residency

Position Profile:

  • 120 hours/month for full time
  • Pediatric EM Census: around 30 per day
  • Physician: 24 hours daily, 8 hour shifts
  • Clear Lake Campus has Pediatric Med-Surg unit and Intermediate Care Unit
  • Level III Trauma
  • Level II NICU
  • UTMB Emergency Medicine Residency (5 residents/yr in 3-yr EM program; 2 residents/yr in 4-yr EM/Aerospace program)
  • Pediatric ED is integrated into EM Residency Academic appointment: Clinical Assistant Professor
  • Separate Residency Core Faculty on staff for didactic training responsibilities
  • Primarily clinical with occasional bedside teaching of residents and students
  • Pediatric EM BC/BE
  • Independent Contractor status
