Norton Children’s Rheumatology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible leader to serve as chief of Norton Children’s Rheumatology and division chief of the University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics Division of Pediatric Rheumatology. This dual leadership position is integral to advancing pediatric rheumatology care, education and research for both our clinical practice and UofL School of Medicine.
For nearly 100 years, the University of Louisville School of Medicine has worked together with Norton Children’s Hospital to care for the patients of the region, train the doctors of tomorrow, conduct research and innovate in the field of child health. Together, we look to grow significantly in the coming years to carry out our shared mission:
- Be the region’s most comprehensive and preferred health care system for pediatric patients from infancy to young adulthood
- Train tomorrow’s pediatric health care providers and leaders
- Translate clinical research to state-of-the-art bedside care
- Promote healthy families through advocacy and community engagement
