Job Description

  • Full-Time W-2 position with benefits
  • 132 Hospital Beds
  • 14 ICU Beds
  • Level IV Trauma Center
  • Closed ICU
  • Average Daily Encounters: 9
  • EMR: Epic
  • Day: 1 Physician 7a-7p
  • Night: 1 NP/PA 7p-7a & Physician on-call
Physician Requirements:
  • Board Certification in Critical Care & Pulmonology
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience
  • Must have Active TX license & DEA
  • Work 1 week per month at this hospital and 1 week at San Marcos hospital
NP/PA Requirements:
  • NPs must have ACNP
  • Must have at least 1 year of Critical Care experience as an NP/PA or completed a Critical Care residency program
  • Must be comfortable working alone overnight (will have overnight MD via phone)
  • Procedural competency in intubations, central lines, and arterial lines
