Carlsbad is a city in southeast New Mexico. It is known as a gateway to the bat-filled caves of Carlsbad Caverns National Park. North of the park, trails surround towering Sitting Bull Falls. Downtown, Lake Carlsbad Beach Park has picnic and swimming areas, plus an adjacent water park.

- Full scope of inpatient and outpatient duties
- 24-hour coverage; 2 days on/2 days off work schedule
- In-house call 3:1 (average census 1 - 2, 1 admission, 4 phone consults)
- 24 - 30 patients each day
- Must be board certified and board eligible
- Includes medical benefits, CME allowance, relocation assistance, and retirement package
