Duke Radiology invites applications to join our Abdominal Imaging team, one of the largest divisions within our nationally recognized Radiology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional clinical service and teaching. We offer a wide variety of clinical cases and ample opportunities for research and mentorship.

The Duke Radiology Abdominal Imaging team is looking to expand and is dedicated to delivering excellence through innovation, research, and exceptional patient care. We are excited to welcome new members to our team who share our passion for providing the highest quality of care.

Opportunity:

  • Range of high?impact services including CT (including dual energy), MRI (including prostate, liver and rectal), image-guided percutaneous intervention, ultrasound, and GI fluoroscopy all performed in Duke Hospital to facilitate collaboration both within the team and with other specialties.
  • Collaborate with hepatobiliary, pancreatic, colorectal, and endocrine/thyroid multidisciplinary working groups.
  • Work closely with Duke oncologic, urologic, and general surgeons.
  • Faculty appointment with the Duke School of Medicine at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level.

Qualifications:

  • Board certification in radiology and fellowship-trained in abdominal imaging.
  • A commitment to clinical service and teaching radiology residents and abdominal imaging fellows (52 residents and 8 abdominal imaging fellows per year).
  • Demonstrated scholarly activity and interest in academic medicine.
