St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join St. Peter’s Hospital Labor & Delivery program in Albany, NY, with a primary focus on Triage services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team of Midwives and Physicians providing high quality, patient-centered maternity care within a supportive hospital environment. St. Peter’s Hospital OBGYN program is a robust program with an average of 3,700 deliveries annually.  Our comprehensive team consists of Midwifery, OBGYN, MFM, and level 3 NICU services.

Position Details:

  • Provide in-house/onsite coverage in the Labor & Delivery Triage Unit:
    • Working 12-hour shifts, 3–4 days per week
    • Rotating schedule that includes nights and weekends
  • Manage and assess labor triage cases
  • Determine the level of urgency, next steps, and appropriate level of care for laboring patients
  • Collaborate closely with OB/GYN’s, residents, nurses, and care teams

Candidate Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with active NYS licensure
  • Minimum two years of midwifery experience required, preferably in labor & delivery or triage

Recruitment Package:

St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

  • Starting range: $69.98 per hour commensurate with experience
  • Starting Bonus
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
