Faculty - Certified Nurse Midwife
Act now to join a rapidly growing academic midwifery team at WVU Medicine in Buckhannon, WV. We’re urgently recruiting a Certified Nurse Midwife (Instructor rank) to provide full-scope midwifery care while teaching the next generation of clinicians.

For over 100 years, WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital has been caring for the people of central West Virginia. As a designated Critical Access Hospital, we’re committed to providing essential medical services close to home. Our team includes more than 40 primary care and specialty providers serving patients in our hospital and surrounding clinics. Our facility features a Level IV Trauma Emergency Department, surgical suites, and acute and critical care units.
We also offer a wide range of services, including imaging and lab work, cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation programs, and a chemotherapy and infusion center. In addition, our hospital is home to a long-term nursing care facility, ensuring continued care for patients who require extended support. Our labor and delivery unit has been recognized by the West Virginia Perinatal Partnership for its excellence in caring for pregnant women and newborns, reaffirming our role as a trusted partner in family health.
