Logan Health is seeking a Psychiatric NP in Whitefish, Montana

The NP will provide diagnostic and therapeutic patient care under the supervision of the behavioral health medical director, behavioral health administrator as well as other physicians. Patient care will be provided in an outpatient clinical setting. Care includes, but is not limited to, the following: performing initial psychiatric evaluations; developing a differential and working diagnosis; ordering laboratory and diagnostic tests; developing and ordering treatment plans and clinically managing appropriate medications associated with psychiatric disorders; providing patient and family education regarding psychiatric disorders; coordinating specialty consults as indicated; and providing outreach in clinic settings, nursing homes and school-based settings.
