Dermatology Physician Assistant- University of Vermont Medical Center

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a dedicated, experienced and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Dermatology practice in South Burlington, VT.

Provides acute and comprehensive health care to patients in various states of health or illness. PAs practice medicine within their scope of practice based on their education, training and experience. PAs collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed to provide care to patients. 

This is a 1.0 FTE exempt position with primary shift coverage of Mon – Fri 8 am to 5 pm, with no evening, weekend, or on-call requirements!

EDUCATION:

Successful completion of PA educational program at an institution accredited by ARC-PA (Accreditation and Review Commission on Education for the PA.) Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred.  Current NCCPA Board Certification required and active licensure to practice as PA by the VT Board of Medical Practice.     

EXPERIENCE:

• Ideal candidate to have 2 years Dermatology experience as a PA

• New grads are encouraged to apply if they have previous experience working in a Dermatology setting.
