If you’re looking for a place where your ideas matter and your impact is felt every day, Esse Health is where you can truly thrive.

Why This Role Is Available:

  • Ability to achieve a healthy work-life balance, with greater control over your practice, schedule, staff, and more
  • An environment free from hospital bureaucracy that allows faster decision-making and autonomy
  • Innovative care model with dedicated support services —that support physician wellness, efficiency, and quality of care
  • Career fulfillment and satisfaction, delivering care at a significantly lower cost than hospitals
  • Robust infrastructure, proven best-practice training, and transparent reporting that connect quality care with financial sustainability
  • Care Management and Hospital at Home resources available, extending care outside of the clinic

What We Offer:

  • 3-year guaranteed salary with long-term financial stability
  • Unlimited earning potential with no cap on earnings
    • Tied to patient outcomes, practice success, and quality care
    • Compensation model that rewards keeping patients healthy, preventing disease, and managing chronic conditions

    • Opportunity to earn shareholder status, typically in years 4-5
  • 4 weeks paid time off, 9 paid holidays, and 5 paid days for CME, with even more flexibility as a shareholder
  • Profit sharing
  • 401k with match
  • Eligible for sign-on, relocation, CME allowance, and retention bonus
  • Available benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long/Short Term Disability, Health Savings Account/Flexible Spending Account, Fraud Protection, Legal, Pet and other miscellaneous

Practice Highlights:

  • Value-based, longitudinal care practice with Medicare Advantage panel management, providing high-quality, coordinated care to improve outcomes
  • Join a collaborative team of 2 Internal Medicine and 1 Family Medicine Physician Partners in your clinic, with additional physicians and multidisciplinary colleagues across the group
  • Create roots in the community without concerns about relocating between clinic sites
  • Gradually take over a physician’s panel, with mentorship and warm patient hand-offs as they transition toward retirement
  • Choose either an outpatient-only practice or a traditional clinic-plus-inpatient practice utilizing hospitalists
  • Flexibility to focus on clinical interests (ADHD, mental health, women’s health, LGBTQ+ care, etc.)
  • Opportunity to incorporate sub-specialty care and mentor medical students and residents if desired

Patient Volume & Support:

  • Receive clinical support from your team of Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, an Office Manager, and others
    • Support staff function at the top of their training, assisting with in-basket management, refills, prior authorizations, and care coordination
  • Care Management and Hospital at Home resources available, extending care outside of the clinic

A Recognized Leader in Using Technology in Healthcare and Physician Accountability for both Quality and Cost-of-Care

Esse Health

Esse Health offers physicians a better way to practice medicine—one built on physician ownership, meaningful influence, strong operational support, and long-term career satisfaction. As a physician-owned and physician-led organization, we create an environment where physicians can focus on patient care, maintain balance, and build rewarding careers within a model designed for their success.

Unlike traditional hospital systems, Esse Health gives physicians the opportunity to shape how care is delivered while benefiting from the tools, infrastructure, and support needed to succeed. The result is a practice model that offers more voice, more balance, and a stronger connection to both patients and peers.

Private Practice, Elevated

Esse Health's hybrid practice model combines the independence of private practice with the support, resources, and collaboration of a large physician-owned group.

  • Physician Ownership & Meaningful Influence
    • Real influence over clinical, operational, and strategic decisions
    • Governance structure that values physician input
  • Autonomy with Support—Not Isolation
    • Clinical decision-making led by physicians, not administrators

    • Physicians directly benefit from the success of their practice and the organization
  • Continuity That Matters
