Broward Health is seeking a GI Hospitalist to join our team at Broward Health Medical Center in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. This is a dedicated inpatient-only role designed for physicians who thrive in a collaborative, high-acuity hospital environment. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team focused on quality and patient-centered care.
Position Highlights
- This role involves managing inpatient and ED consults, overseeing GI-related admissions, and providing comprehensive care for adult/geriatric patients with acute and complex gastrointestinal conditions
- 100% Inpatient Gastroenterology
- No clinic requirement
- Block Schedule: 1 week on/ 1 week off
- Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- After-Hours Call (during on week):
- Phone triage for ER and inpatient consults
- Occasional return to hospital based on patient needs
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume tertiary care setting
Compensation & Benefits
- Highly competitive base salary: $650,000.00 — $700,000.000 based on experience

Qualifications
- BC or BE in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for medical license in the state of Florida
- Strong clinical skills in inpatient gastroenterology
- Experience with ERCP and EUS preferred, but not required
