We are seeking a compassionate, entrepreneurial-minded Primary Care physician to join our team late in 2027 or early 2028.

Practice Highlights:
- Join a collaborative team including 3 Family Medicine Physician partners, APPs, MAs, an office manager, and support staff
- Opportunity to gradually take over an established physician’s panel, with mentorship and warm patient hand-offs as they transition toward retirement
- Create roots in the community without concerns about relocating between clinic sites
- Outpatient only practice with flexibility to focus on clinical interests (ADHD, mental health, women’s health, LGBTQ+ care, etc.)
- Opportunity to incorporate subspecialty care and mentor and teach medical students and residents if desired
Schedule & Hours:
- Clinic hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Schedule: 4.5 days patient care + 0.5 day administrative (greater flexibility as a shareholder)
Call:
-
1:4 shared call rotation
- One weekend every four weeks and one weekday evening per week
- Outpatient phone call only
- Triage-first call model
Patient Volume & Support:
- Gradual onboarding ramp-up to build confidence with the EMR, patient care, flow, and coding
- Target at least 18 patients/day as comfort and efficiency increase for financial success
- Care Management and Hospital at Home resources available, extending care outside of the clinic
- Support staff function at the top of their training, assisting with in-basket management, refills, prior authorizations, and care coordination
Procedures & Office Details:
- In-office procedures based on physician preference; precepting available for those interested in learning (current physician performs injections and biopsies)
- In-house lab and other services
- Daily courier service to main Esse lab; results integrated into EMR

- NextGen EMR with AI scribe technology and Dragon dictation

- 3-year guaranteed salary with long-term financial stability
- Unlimited earning potential with no cap on earnings

- Compensation model rewards keeping patients healthy, preventing disease, and managing chronic conditions
- Physicians are earning $350K-$750K on average, depending on practice performance and career stage
- Opportunity to earn shareholder status, typically in years 4-5
- 4 weeks of paid time off, 9 paid holidays, and 5 paid days for CME, with even more flexibility as a shareholder

Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to certify (ABMS or AOA)
- Missouri licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in Missouri
