Quantum Imaging & Therapeutic Associates (QITA), one of Pennsylvania’s largest physician-owned private radiology practices, is seeking Diagnostic Radiologists interested in a fully remote teleradiology opportunity.

This position is ideal for radiologists who want the flexibility to work from home while remaining part of a large, established private practice. QITA offers a broad diagnostic case mix, flexible scheduling options, strong earning potential, and the technology and support needed to practice remotely.

Radiologists may live anywhere in the United States or Puerto Rico, provided they obtain and maintain a Pennsylvania medical license as well as appropriate licensure in their state or territory of residence.

Remote Schedule Options

QITA offers several scheduling options for remote diagnostic radiologists based on practice needs and physician availability.

Typical weekday schedules may include:

• 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
• 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
• 3 p.m.–11 p.m. evening coverage

Remote radiologists generally provide approximately 12 weekends of coverage per year, averaging one weekend per month.

Depending on the individual agreement and staffing needs, physicians may also have opportunities for a recovery day during the week surrounding weekend coverage.

The Practice

QITA’s clinical model provides radiologists with access to a broad and diverse diagnostic case mix. Although the group includes many fellowship-trained and subspecialized physicians, this is not a narrowly subspecialized position.

Radiologists should be comfortable reading general diagnostic studies in addition to utilizing their individual areas of expertise. Fellowship training is welcomed but is not required.

QITA is also particularly interested in remote radiologists who are open to helping with evening, overnight, or weekend coverage, as off-hours coverage is one of the practice’s highest recruitment priorities.

Candidate Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one
• Appropriate medical license in the physician’s state or territory of residence
• Fellowship training is welcomed but not required
• New graduates and fellows are encouraged to apply
• Comfortable interpreting a broad mix of general diagnostic studies
• Comfortable practicing in a remote/teleradiology environment
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Commitment to high-quality, timely interpretations
