Albany Med Health System is seeking a dedicated and dynamic board-certified Internal Medicine educator to join our Internal Medicine academic practice as an ambulatory associate program director (APD) with 0.25 FTE allocated for educational leadership responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a collaborative residency leadership team, integrating patient care with ambulatory medical education and scholarship.

- Be part of a cornerstone practice in the Albany Medical College (AMC) Internal Medicine residency training program, supporting 60 residents, including 32 in continuity practice at our Internal Medicine Group (IMG).
- Great opportunities to supervise, teach, and mentor residents during their continuity clinics.
- Co-direct the internal medicine ambulatory curriculum and participate as a member of the clinical competency committee.
- Work in a patient centered medical home with 10 faculty and 3 advanced practitioners, committed to serving patients in the greater Capital District of Albany, NY.
- Engage with medical students, as well as physician assistant and pharmacy students.
- Experience the support of academic Hospitalist colleagues managing inpatient admissions.
What We’re Looking For:
- A motivated and innovative clinician-educator passionate about ambulatory education, and exemplary patient care.
- Experience in learner development, teaching primary care, and evidence-based medicine.
- A strong commitment to resident and student education, with responsibilities in continuity precepting and direct patient care.

- Competitive base salary range $231,000 to $312,000 depending on experience, and academic rank, with additional incentive bonus opportunity
