We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive orthopedic care in the operating room, inpatient setting, and outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations
• Assist orthopedic surgeons in the operating room
• Manage pre- and postoperative patient care
• Conduct inpatient rounds and outpatient follow-up visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
• Perform procedures including joint injections, casting, splinting, and wound care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

Experience

• Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred but not required
• New graduates encouraged to apply

Licensure & Certifications

• CT APRN License and national certification OR CT Physician Assistant License and NCCPA certification
• DEA License or eligibility
• BLS/ACLS certification as required
