Family/Internal Medicine Physician

Sanitas Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our Crosswinds location in Tampa, Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine physician who enjoys providing comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan, from pediatric through geriatric populations. Our physicians practice within a collaborative, value-based care model supported by an integrated healthcare team focused on prevention, quality, care coordination, and improved patient outcomes.

Physician Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

• Provide preventive care, annual physicals, wellness visits, and health screenings

• Manage chronic diseases and develop individualized treatment plans

• Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the interdisciplinary care team

• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies

• Educate patients and families regarding preventive health, chronic disease management, and wellness

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record

• Collaborate with the care team on quality improvement and population health initiatives

• Participate in a value-based care model focused on proactive, coordinated, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment

• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain

• Outpatient primary care experience preferred

• Strong clinical, communication, and patient engagement skills

• Commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered primary care

• Ability to work effectively within an integrated, multidisciplinary care team

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
