Are you looking for a practice where "work-life balance" is a clinical reality rather than a recruiting catchphrase? We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Urologist to join our hospital-employed team in "The Shoals" in Northwest Alabama to step into a ready-made patient base following a high-volume retirement.
- The "Friday Perk": The clinic closes at noon every Friday, giving you a head start on your weekend.
- Built-in Efficiency: A robust support staff (1 NP, 1 RN, 1 LPN, and 3 MAs) handles the heavy lifting, allowing you to focus on patient care.
- The Mid-Day OR Model: Our unique schedule integrates OR time in the middle of the day, offering a refreshing break from the clinic and ensuring you aren't stuck in surgery until late evening.
- Automatic Referral Stream: Immediate volume from three large local primary care hubs and the broader Florence area.
- Call Rotation: 1:5.
- The Reality: You only cover one week per month (Mon–Fri) and one weekend per month. The UAB partnership ensures that when you are off, you are truly off.
- Guaranteed Base + wRVU Production: High earning potential from day one.

A little about The Shoals area
The four adjacent towns of Florence, Sheffield, Muscle Shoals, and Tuscumbia are on the banks of the Tennessee River and make up what we call The Shoals. Because these towns are so intertwined, the residents here enjoy a quality of life and a variety of activities usually only found in much larger metropolitan areas. The low cost of living is an added bonus.
We are located just a few miles from Tennessee and Mississippi with access to three major airports. Huntsville is approximately an hour away, while Birmingham and Nashville are about 2 hours away. This proximity offers greater shopping, arts and entertainment venues as well.
We are an outdoor lover's dream. Golfers pick from a variety of public and private courses, including two of the most spectacular courses on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The river and its system of lakes offer a variety of recreational activities including beautiful public parks, camping areas, fishing, boating, great kayaking opportunities and walking trails.

It is home to Fame Recording Studios and Muscle Shoals Sound where many famous artists have recorded including The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Aretha Franklin.
