Nurse Practitioner - Family Medicine

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our busy, well-established group at our FPN Family Wellness Center located in Munster, Indiana. Provider would be joining a group of five physicians who have been with the practice for over 10 years along with an experienced staff.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Family Medicine experience with focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Clinic hours:
  • Monday & Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Provider schedule: 4 days per week with one late day
• No call expectation
• Average outpatient volume: 18 – 22 patients per day
• Telehealth offered
• Onsite radiology and lab
• Common Diagnoses:
  • Common Cold
  • Flu
  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • COPD
  • Depression
  • Preventative Visits
  • Wellness Checks

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree Required
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
