APP for PCCM at SRMH in Harrisonburg, VA - $5,000 Annual Incentive

Sentara Medical Group has a full-time position available for an experienced Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient team working a rotating schedule of 7-days on/7-days off to provide direct patient care management to complex and critically ill patients in the ICU. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years' experience as a licensed provider in a critical care, trauma, and/or acute care setting. The provider will be responsible for preparing admissions, performing the initial evaluation and physical exams, conducting approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ordering lab studies and professional consultations, and prescribing appropriate interventions and medications. Experience with respiratory intubation, placing central and arterial lines, and managing ventilators are highly desirable.
