Orthopedic Spine Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Busy spine practice is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their group. Duties include performing H&P exams prior to surgery, ordering/interpreting lab results, radiographs, and surgical assist for spine surgeries as needed. Provider is responsible for diagnosing/treating acute and chronic spine conditions in both inpatient and outpatient practice with hospital rounds.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 1+ years of PA/NP experience (Required)
  • 1+ years of spine surgery experience (Required)
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program (Required)
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • NCCPA National Certification (Required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • NC License (preferred)
• EMR: Epic (experience a plus)
