Bon Secours PRN Occupational Health NP/PA needed - Chester - Mechanicsville clinics - PRN

Bon Secours Employer Services and Occupational Health is an employer's single-source partner for employees’ health and well-being. 

We're growing to add a PRN Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to our team.

Clinic Locations: 

12021 US-1 Suite 200, Chester, VA

8200 Meadowbridge Rd Suite 301, Mechanicsville, VA

The APC will provide flex coverage PRN - as needed - between locations.

• Minimum 4 shifts per month
• Opportunity to cover Hampton Roads clinics if NP/PA can travel
• Mileage is provided between clinics, and hotel is provided for multiple shifts in a row if needed
• This provider will be covering ATO out-of-clinic dates for the providers, as well as some need for last-minute requests for out sick or on-site events coverage

• Nurse Practitioner will oversee the care of walk in and scheduled patient visits daily to include DOT physical exams, hazmat and respirator exams, workers comp injuries etc.  
• Highly prefer experience in Occupational Medicine, Acute Injury Care, Musculoskeletal exams, Laceration Repair
• ER or Urgent Care background preferred
• Outpatient practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred!
• Ideally we are  hoping to invite a new provider who will help build our book of business by delivering a high quality of services to our patients, and by  nurturing strong relationships with the company Designated Employer Representatives  we serve.  
• Approx 15 patients per day - all adult
• Shifts are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday* Provider will need to have some flexibilty to allow for occasional walk-in care needs that may extend beyond 4:30 PM.  Generally no nights, weekends or holidays - NO CALL
• X-Ray on site
• Must have  understanding of navigating OSHA, FMCSA, CDC, LEO and NFPA 1582 guidelines and be DOT certified or have the ability to become certified
• In clinic support - 2 LPN/CMA, X-ray tech

PRN Position - No Benefits provided.  Bon Secours will cover malpractice/liability/tail insurance. Position is an hourly rate of pay.  Pay periods every 2 weeks.
