Bon Secours Full Time Occupational Health Physician Assistant needed - Chester Location

We're growing to add a Full Time Occupational Health PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT to our team.

Work Location:  Chester, VA - at our partnering company's manufacturing facility onsite

• Work schedule:  M-F, Rotating Days 8:00 am-4:30 pm and 7:00 am-3:30 pm
• Providers will need to have a flexible schedule to allow for occasional late walk in care that my extend beyond our 4:30 closing time.
• Currently, our providers are not required to work nights, weekends, holidays nor take call.
• Approx 15 patients per day - all adult
• Experienced Candidates only -Minimum 2 years of Occupational Health practice
• Physician Assistant will oversee the care of walk in and scheduled patient visits daily to include DOT physical exams, hazmat and respirator exams, workers comp injuries etc.  
• Requires experience in Occupational Medicine, Acute Injury Care, Musculoskeletal exams, Laceration Repair
• ER or Urgent Care background preferred
• Mentorship available from Medical Director and other providers
• Ideally we are  hoping to invite a new provider who will help build our book of business by delivering a high quality of services to our patients, and by nurturing strong relationships with the company Designated Employer Representatives  we serve.  
• Must have  understanding of navigating OSHA, FMCSA, CDC, LEO and NFPA 1582 guidelines and be DOT certified or have the ability to become certified
• This provider position will have direct contact with the plant safety team, safety manager and all employees in this specific location
• In clinic support - 2 RN, 1 CMA, other non- clinical personnel, Worker's Comp Coordinator, RN Nurse Supervisor, Program Manager
