HeartPlace is adding to the team and in search of PRN and/or Part-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologists/CT Technologists.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer all in-office Nuclear Medicine test
  • Administers all in-office Computed Tomography tests.
  • Images, processes, and formats images for radiologist and/or physician interpretation.
  • Informs physician of wave abnormalities on electrocardiogram.
  • Documents test results to physicians and patients, as directed by the physician.
  • Monitors consistency of test results, equipment settings, and physician involvement.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and coordinating repairs for all computer tomography testing equipment including but not limited to imaging cameras, heart gating systems, and power injectors.
  • Assists physicians as needed.
  • Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care.
  • Maintains current certifications and licenses as required by the practice.
  • Actively demonstrates teamwork at all times.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Must be experienced and work independently in a very busy private cardiology practice setting

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
  • Must be registered with ARRT or NMTCB
  • ARRT registry and current Texas licensure in Computer Tomography
  • 2 years of experience
  • BLS/CPR Certification

Employment type

  • PRN or Part-Time
  • Monday-Friday
