System Medical Director – Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH)

Core Clinical Partners is seeking an experienced and visionary System Medical Director to lead Emergency Medicine services across Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH), a 14-hospital, non-profit system serving rural communities throughout West Virginia and Kentucky. With oversight of more than 100 EM physicians and 40 advanced practice providers, this is a rare and rewarding opportunity to drive strategic and clinical impact at a scale, while maintaining hands-on clinical practice.
This hybrid leadership and clinical role is ideal for a physician passionate about elevating care quality, building strong clinical teams, and advancing operational performance across multiple sites. The role reports directly to Dr. Rachel Thompson, Chief Medical Officer, and partners with a dedicated Director of Operations and Regional Practice Manager to ensure success.
