New Midwifery Program - Seeking FT Associate Medical Director

Exciting opportunity to direct our new Oula provided by Stamford Health midwifery program! 

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stamford Hospital is seeking a full-time board-certified OB/GYN Associate Medical Director to lead our “Oula provided by Stamford Health” midwifery-integrated OB/GYN practice. The new OB/GYN Associate Medical Director will lead a collaborative team of certified nurse midwives in a model that values partnership, respect, and innovation. This is your opportunity to combine hands-on clinical care with meaningful leadership—mentoring midwives, guiding best practices, and championing a patient-centered approach that empowers women and families.  Stamford is less than an hour to NYC and LaGuardia International Airport.  

Highlights: 

• M - F, 8am to 5pm, NO nights or weekends
• NO CALL required. Calls are covered by midwives and hospitalists
• 2.5 days at Stamford Hospital, primarily outpatient
• 2 days at our beautiful new Norwalk outpatient practice
• Teach OB/GYN residents in our free-standing residency training program, affiliated with Columbia University.  

Qualifications:

• Board-certified in OB/GYN
• 2+ years of attending experience
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Experience with midwifery models a must
