Family friendly community in Southern Mississippi offers excellent educational options including a statewide magnet high school, the Mississippi School of the Arts is located nearby. Approximately 1 hour to Jackson & approximately 2 hours to New Orleans. There are Amtrak trains & major highways offering access to nearby airports.

ROLE

100% Outpatient Pediatrics

Join 3 Physicians, 2 PNPs, 1 FNP

Average 20 patients per day

Meditech EMR

Procedures expected: circs, suture, staple, I&D, frenulum clips

Support staff includes LPN 1 dedicated LPN with additional MA/LPN assistance as needed

Shared Call schedule:

Answering service transfers clinical calls to nurse triage line. 

Monthly Hospital Call (minus 1 weekend) is divided equally among the Doctors. 

During regular business hours PCP covers patient.

HOSPITAL

Community non-trauma 50 bed facility, with a level 2B NICU, labor & delivery floor and outpatient surgery center. Annually draws 35,000 individuals with an average ED volume of 24,000 visits & 730 births. Monthly birth rates range from 60 to 70 & growing.

PACKAGE

Base Salary DOE up to $275k plus wRVU bonus

*Relocation assistance up to $15,000

*Signing Bonus

*Loan repayment up to $100,000 over 4-year period

* For residents/fellows, stipend of $3,000 per month
