Internal Medicine Opportunity in Lawrence, KS

LMH Health is seeking full-time Outpatient Internal Medicine physicians for a hospital-employed group.

If you have a passion for internal medicine and providing exceptional care and access for patients while you establish your home in one of the most vibrant communities in the Heartland, LMH Health may be your perfect fit.

LMH Health is located in Lawrence, Kansas, and also serves the surrounding communities through four rural health clinics. It is a four-star hospital focused on being the best healthcare system in which to give and receive care.

You’ll have the chance to work with excellent physicians and advanced practice practitioners while providing care at our LMH Health Primary Care 6th & Folks clinic for internal medicine.  Opportunities to grow include participation in building a primary care service line to support the people in our community and fostering the growth of our access strategy.

Our Internal Medicine Physicians at 6th & Folks Street supervise several APPs who practice as physician extenders. Call rotation is with the internal medicine colleagues, which equates to a 1 in 7 days weekly call, which equates to approximately four days per month. There is no inpatient rounding, as we have hospitalist coverage for inpatient care.

Our compensation model includes commencement and production bonuses, generous retirement plan, CME, licenses, boards, and professional membership reimbursement, covered premiums for life, health, and disability insurance and generous time off.

Our values are People First, Integrity Matters and Better Together. If those values are important to you, this is the place you can make a difference.
