Banner Medical Group is actively recruiting for a Neurology Service Line Medical Director in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced physician with demonstrated clinical and leadership skills, to lead our comprehensive Valley-Wide Neurology team.

 

Qualified candidates will be board certified, have excellent clinical skills and a strong interest in program development, mentorship and performance.

 

Practice Details:

  • This position provides oversight for Valley-wide Neurology clinical performance.
  • This position ensures the clinical quality of providers and implements and tracks system clinical quality initiatives.
  • Serves as a member of the BMG clinical leadership teams and supports effective collegial relationships with applicable internal and external constituents and stakeholders.
  • The Service Line Medical Director role will be up to 25 % administrative based on the span and scope of responsibility with the remaining time assigned to clinical duties.
  • Medical Doctorate or Doctor of Osteopathy Degree required with Board Certification required and level of expertise typically gained through five years of experience in clinical practice.
  • Three years of leadership experience either within a medical group or hospital organized medical staff is preferred
  • Valid AZ license (or eligible to receive by start date)

 

 Work Schedule / Call:

  •       Mon – Fri with some flexibility (includes Clinical/Admin time)
  •     7-day call (only general or ICU Stroke)
